Congrats on getting the book to press – great work! Re looking for solutions to things and remembering that I’d already solved the problem some time back: that’s pretty much why I have a blog (and a subversion repository of code segments) Good luck with the book.

Putting “1.3″ in the title means that when 1.4 comes out, people are less likely to pick the book up to browse it, even if 95% of it is still applicable. I’d remove the version number, and mention it somewhere else like “based on jQuery 1.3″ Nice cover, though.
